Nationally recognized as one of the top 10 performing arts centers in the nation, the PCPA hosts every type of event imaginable. Twenty-one resident companies call the Portland Center for the Performing Arts home. Among these are the Portland Opera, the Oregon Symphony Orchestra, the Oregon Ballet Theatre, the Portland Center Stage, the Portland Youth Philharmonic, the Oregon Children's Theatre, the Tears of Joy Puppet Theatre, and Broadway in Portland.
